This particular item:
A set of 2 handpainted red wine glasses on Riedel crystal. Riedel glassware is widely considered to be of very good to excellent quality, highly regarded for the clarity and brilliance of the crystal and the ability to enhance the wine-tasting experience through its design. Intricate artwork winds all around the glass. So satisfying to twirl in your hands and marvel at the detail while you are enjoying a glass of wine. When u peer down into this glass as it is getting emptier, u can see a beautiful mandala of sorts on the bottom. These wine glasses are rather unique and definitely conversation pieces. I have inserted red velvet inside the glass for some of the photos to illustrate what the glass will look like with wine in it and also to have more contrast for you to see the intricate designs.
Dimensions/ Materials:
This glass is approximately 10 inches tall and holds 23.5 oz of liquid.
The glass itself is 100% lead free crystal manufactured by the company Riedel. This is from the Wine Friendly line of glassware. (Riedel 002). The Red Wine glass is the perfect glass to suit a variety of red wines. It is high quality glassware with spakling clarity. It is dishwasher safe but due to the delicate nature of the glass I recommend hand washing.
Description of my process:
This beautiful glassware is hand painted by myself with non toxic glass paint and then heat set to cure and preserve my original artwork. This glassware can be hand washed without worry of the paint rubbing off. Each one is unique and made with loving attention to detail to create a dazzling product.
My inspiration:
I have been a henna artist for the past 20 years so this is reflected in the style in which I paint. I embrace the traditional patterns as well the modern look. If u look at the different sections of my shop you will find that I also hand paint wood jewelry, wall plates, glass jars and ornaments. Each item I create is unique due to its hand painted nature.
