This Item-
One hand painted solid cherry wood switch plate cover with intricate gold and copper designs. Toggle switch cover , 1 gang wallplate, flush mount.
Dimensions-
This is a midsized cover plate. The dimensions for this are 3 inches (width) x 5 inches ( length) and it has a low profile, approximately 1/4 of an inch.
The standard size is 2.75 inches (width) x 4.5 inches (length).
Included with your purchase-
It comes with 2 antique bronze mounting screws as well as a wall plate foam gasket insulation pad which is energy saving (it prevents drafts from entering through the switch box) and is fire retardant.
My process-
I paint the intricate designs on the beautiful cherry wood and then seal it to protect the artwork. This is a very elegant upgrade to the standard white covers and will stand out as a conversation piece. Why not have some beautiful art to look at as you turn on /off your lights and add a touch of class to your surroundings!
Variations in wood and art-
The wood makeup of each of these cover plates is unique. They may contain both heartwood and sapwood so the color of the wood itself will vary by individual plate -refer to photos for variations in colors. If purchasing multiple plates, keep in mind that each one will be different. Due to the hadpainted nature of the art, no 2 plates will be exactly the same either.
